the hen loved the brave, strong hawk, and whised to marry him, but she said: "I can't fly as high as you can. if you gimme a time , I may learn to fly . then we can fly togheter"
The hawk agreed. Before he went away, he gave the hen a ring. This is to show that to you have promised to marry me", said the hawk. It so happened that the hen already promised to marry the roaster. so, when the roaster saw the ring, he became very angry "throw that ring away" shouted the roaster. the hen threw the ring immediately.
When the hawk came a few month later, the hen told him the truth. the hawk was so furious that he cursed the hen "why didn't you tell me earlier?" NOW YOU WILL ALWASY BE SCRATCHING TO THE EARTH TO SEARCH THE RING AND I WILL ALWAYS BE FLYING ABOVE TO CATCH YOUR CHILDREN.
Itulah sebabnya ayam selalu mengorek tanah dan anaknya selalu diburu burung, namun ini hanya sekedar mitos percaya ga percaya, ga percaya :)
